Wealducate pilot — terms of use

1. Who you are dealing with

Vestora and WealQuest are operated by Wealducate, a sole proprietorship operating from India. Being a sole proprietorship, the business and its proprietor are the same legal person, and these terms are entered into with that person. Contact: hello@wealducate.com.

2. What this is

You have been invited to a small, free, invitation-only pilot. It exists so that real use can find problems before a wider release. There is no charge, now or during the pilot, and we will not ask you for payment details.

3. What Vestora is — and is not

Vestora helps you bring investments, expenses, income, insurance and tax information together in one place, and computes valuations, returns, allocations, goal progress and tax positions from documents you provide.

Vestora is not investment advice, and we are not a registered investment adviser, a broker or a distributor. Nothing it shows is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It prepares numbers; it does not file your tax return and does not submit anything to the income-tax portal on your behalf.

Vestora never connects to your bank or broker. You upload statements; there is no account linking and we never ask for banking credentials.

4. What we honestly cannot promise

This is a pilot, and pretending otherwise would be the wrong start.

• There is no service level. It may be unavailable, slow, or broken at times, and we do not commit to a response time for fixes.
• Numbers may be wrong. We work hard on correctness and run automated checks on every release, but you should check anything you rely on, particularly for tax.
• Features may change or be withdrawn during the pilot.
• Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take backups, but you should not treat Vestora as your only record.

5. Your data

• You can export everything, at any time, in a usable format. This is a deliberate design commitment, not a courtesy.
• You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time, and we will.
• We never sell, rent or share your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• Statements are parsed by our own software, deterministically. AI models never see your statement contents.
• Where your data lives depends on which version you use: the desktop app keeps it on your own machine; the cloud app stores it on our infrastructure, isolated to your account. Full detail: our Privacy Policy.

6. Your invitation

Access is by invitation key. If your key lapses, the app becomes read-only: everything you have imported stays visible, and only new changes are refused. Nothing is deleted. Ask us and we will issue a replacement.

7. What we ask of you

Use it for your own finances, tell us when something looks wrong, and do not share your invitation key. If you spot an incorrect number, telling us is genuinely the most valuable thing you can do.

8. Ending it

You may stop at any time and ask for your data to be deleted. We may end the pilot or your access at any time — if we do, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data first.

9. Liability

Because the pilot is free and provided as-is, our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent Indian law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

These pilot terms sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they differ for pilot participants, these terms apply.
