Which statements can Vestora read — and which can it not?
The supported list lives in the app and is generated from the code, so it is always current. Here is how to read it, and why we would rather tell you what is missing.

What it reads today
The list changes as parsers are added, so the honest answer is a live one: see the current supported-sources list. That page is generated from the code itself and shows only what has been proven on a real file, so it cannot drift from what the app actually does.
At the time of writing that means the CAMS and KFinTech consolidated statements, the NSDL consolidated statement (eCAS), contract notes and order books from Zerodha, ICICI Direct and ICICI Securities, and bank and credit-card statements from Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. Several more are written but not yet confirmed against a real document, and those are shown as coming rather than counted as working.
The consolidated statements from the registrars and the depository are the single most useful thing you can give it, because one document covers many folios at once.
Why the list is stated rather than implied
Coverage is the easiest thing in this category to overstate. An app that says it supports everything and then quietly fails on your particular document has cost you an evening and told you nothing.
So a source is only listed as working once a real statement of that exact format has been read correctly. Formats that are coded but unproven are marked as coming. If your bank or broker is not on the list, Vestora will not pretend to read it.
If yours is not supported
One limit worth knowing before you try: your demat account sits with one of two depositories, NSDL or CDSL, and each issues its own consolidated statement. Vestora reads the NSDL one. It does not read the CDSL one yet, so if your demat is with CDSL that route will not work for you — your mutual funds are still covered by the CAMS and KFinTech statements.
You can still enter holdings by hand, and they behave exactly like imported ones for returns, allocation and tax.
