What happens to my data if I stop using Vestora?
You can take everything with you, and you can have it deleted. Neither is buried, and neither costs anything.

Taking it with you
Everything you have put into Vestora can be exported as CSV or JSON, whenever you like, without asking anyone. That includes holdings, transactions, expenses and goals — not a summary of them.
This matters more than it sounds. A tool that makes leaving difficult is relying on the difficulty rather than on being good, and the years of history you build up are the most valuable thing in the app.
Having it deleted
On the cloud version, deleting your account and everything in it is one action inside the app, and it removes the data rather than hiding it.
On the computer version there is no delete-everything button yet, and we would rather say so than let you assume there is. Your data is a file on your own machine, so removing that file removes the data — but the app does not currently walk you through it. Email support@wealducate.com and we will do it with you. It is a gap we intend to close.
Nothing is held hostage
Your history is not paywalled, and export is not a paid feature. There is no plan under which leaving costs you your records.
