Should I use Vestora on my computer or in the cloud?
Both compute the same numbers from the same statements. What differs is where your financial data sits and how statements get in.

The short answer
Take the cloud version if you want Vestora on your phone, or if forwarding a statement email and having it appear is worth more to you than where the file lives.
Take the computer version if the idea of your financial data sitting on somebody else's server bothers you — even a bit. That is what it is for. It is Windows only for now, and invite-only.
What is the same
The computer version is not a cut-down one. Same statement readers, same capital-gains and tax engine, same returns and allocation analytics, same traceability of every figure back to a statement line. A number is produced by identical code either way.
What differs, and the full comparison
The differences that actually decide it are a handful: the phone, email statement ingest, the weekly summary, who holds the backup, and what leaves the machine.
