A number looks wrong. What do I do?
Every figure in Vestora traces back to the statement line it came from, so a wrong number is something you can follow rather than argue with.

Follow it back
Open the holding and look at the figure you are questioning. Vestora records which statement, and which line of it, produced that number. That is the whole point of the design: you should be able to check a figure rather than take it on faith.
Most surprises turn out to be one of three things — a statement that stops earlier than you thought, the same holding appearing under two folio numbers, or a corporate action such as a bonus or split that has not been recorded yet.
Where a figure cannot be verified
When Vestora cannot support a number from a source, it shows the gap instead of filling it in quietly. A visible gap is more useful than a confident-looking estimate, because you can act on it.
Those gaps, and any checks that failed, collect in the Review inbox with what to do about each one. Working through Review is usually faster than hunting through individual holdings.
Duplicates are linked, not deleted
If two sources describe the same transaction — your registrar statement and your broker, say — Vestora keeps both records and links them, so you can see what each source said. Only one of them counts towards your holdings.
That is deliberate. Discarding one copy would make the totals right and the history unverifiable.
Still wrong?
Email support@wealducate.com and say which holding and which figure looks wrong, plus which statement it should have come from. Because every number is traceable to a statement line, a report like that is usually enough to find the cause without anyone needing access to your data.
You do not need to send us the statement, and please do not send passwords. If we need anything more we will ask, and we will say why.
